STANDSure is a comprehensive and innovative forest protection plan providing owners, investors, managers and consultants with a level of protection previously unavailable.

What STANDSure Covers

STANDSure covers standard risks such as fire, lightning, explosion etc. but also includes automatic cover for damage caused by windthrow and malicious damage.
Windthrow cover is for a maximum of $500,000 and applies to trees over 5 years of age.

Plus, you have the option of including as an extension to your policy cover for damage caused by earthquakes, volcanic eruptions including ash deposits, and tsunamis.

STANDSure
automatically covers other costs and expenses such as site clearing and re-establishment, fire fighting and extra salvage costs.

Claims preparation costs are covered and you can use your own forestry consultant/manager to help formulate and manage your claim.
You can select the amount of insurance for these additional covers.

Benefits for consultants/managers

STANDSure offers extra benefits to consultants and managers including the right of the owner to retain the consultant/manager to manage any claim. The policy protects the interest of consultants/managers, eliminating the insurer's rights of recovery in the event of a claim.
